Rectal Rings
For repairing rectal prolapses in sheep, goats, pigs & small calves.
Use with Umbilical Tape to tie off prolapse next to body.
How to Use
Insert tube into rectum (tapered end in) and tie off prolapse next to body with elastrator ring or umbilical tape (elastrator ring or tape should be in the center grove of the rectal ring). Prolapse section should slough off in a few days.
Precautions
The sooner you insert the ring the better the results.
Do not push the ring in too far or you will not be able to tie it off. (A loop of string through the ring will allow you to hold the ring in place. Remove the string once the ring is tied off.)
