Non-sterile umbilical tape made by Jorgensen.
Use with S-Curve Needle for prolapse repair and securing Rectal Rings.
Made of soft but very strong braided white polyester.
Offered in two sizes:
1/8" X 20 yards
3/8" X 20 yards
Benefits
Soft enough that it will not cut your hands or the tissue while tying off. Can be cut with a knife or scissors but almost impossible to break by pulling.

Proper way to suture vulva after vaginal or uterine prolapse. Divide vulva into thirds. Make large box stitch. Start at area where skin and wool meet. Use 3/8" umbilical tape and S-curved needle. Leave enough room for 2 finger width between sutures.
